Sue Dress

Asymmetric ankle length dress with a high side slit made from silk satin. We designed this item with multiple strap details, in favor of a preferred style of wear.

For this Fall capsule collection, The New Studio and Nani wanted to create a more mono- and earth toned look. Nani experimented with eucalyptus leaves and learned the leaves give a brown/ greenish shade. The attribution of iron darkens all colors achieved.

Color-ways will vary due to this natural dying process. Despite the same use of fabric, ingredients and steps undertaken during fabrication, the results always come out different, ranging from light to darker tones. We personally love the variety and uniqueness of every hand-dyed item and contribute to the shape and feel of what we represent. To provide you some visualizations, the model wears the multiple colors of every item.
